I had ordered my wedding cake and cupcakes from The Bakery Shoppe and they DID NOT disappoint!! I do not live in the area so I unfortunately did not have the opportunity to sample the cakes before ordering, but they were all so amazing! I was able to get multiple flavors of cupcakes and all of the guests loved them! I would highly recommend and hope to visit again in the future!
EDIT : We had another trip back to Iron Mountain so we stopped back and the bakery shoppe made everything right. Thank you very much and we greatly appreciate it.) Highly dissatisfied. We moved away and when we get the chance to come back to Iron Mountain we always order from here. First they were out of pastery sheets for the bear claws.... Which I though those were homemade.... And the 2 loafs of bread we ordered had huge slits in them so we were unable to use them for sandwiches, which was the whole purpose of buying them. I didn't think I had to inspect our order because we have never had any issues. I don't think we will ever go back. I'm extremely disappointed.
Carrot cake good but frosting was way too sweet. Having the frosting a lot less sweet would have made a huge difference. Could only eat a couple bites
My daughter and I visited the bakery this morning and we were not disappointed. Very friendly lady at the counter telling us all about the different items sold there. I got a very berry muffin and my little got a glazed donut. We just moved from green bay to Dunbar and this place tops anything we've ever had in green bay. The best muffin I've ever had and my daughter said her donut was better than she ever imagined. We will be back again and again and again. Can't wait to try her cakes for a birthday.
One of the best bakery’s I have stepped in to. While traveling the UP my wife and I love stopping in local bakery’s for our goods.
I only had a chocolate croissant but it was the best I’ve had. It actually had chocolate through out and drizzled on each bite. So many any other bakery only have a few drops of chocolate in the croissants. Every item looked great.
It's a fantastic Bakery Shoppe in Iron Mountain. I stopped in to pick up some treats to drop off at Peninsula Title, and Patricia took great care of me! She greeted me right away and helped walk me through the options as I put together an appreciation gift for the office. I also took home a day-old loaf of the Mediterranean Herb — sliced, toasted, and topped with a little butter, it didn’t make it through the night.
So, there was a wedding at the country club where I work, and afterwards the family graciously left an amazing selection of cupcakes and macarons for the staff to enjoy.
Their bakery is always awesome and Pam is the sweetest employee! Make sure you check out the "day old" section to get a deal in the morning. My go to are the muffins and cookies.
My girlfriend and I ordered a birthday cake for her daughter's 36th birthday. She absolutely loved it. Said it was the most beautiful and scrumptious cake she has ever had. It was a chocolate cake with chocolate Bavarian cream between the layers and chocolate icing topped with chocolate ganache. We expected the cake to look pretty but didn't expect it to look as elegant as it was. It truly made this young lady feel extra special. We highly recommend the Bakery Shoppe to make any occasion an extra special occasion. We would like to thank you for the exceptional job.
